Mothers Day Plaques

I decided to make an extra special little gift for the mums this year and saw this idea on a Create and Craft Joanna Sheen show with Jo Channon. I adapted it to use items I had and this is the result. I was really pleased with them.

Been a little while!

Sorry for not posting for a while. I have been busy crafting for Mothers Day and various birthdays.
The Mothers Day cards caused me some problems as I wanted them to be perfect but couldn't quite get them right! In the end I was very happy with them! Here are the cards

Update on Polka Doodles Challenge

As you will see in an earlier post I entered the Polka Doodles Spots & Stripes Challenge and was delighted to find that I came 2nd!! It was my first ever blog challenge so I was over the moon! Now I just need to enter more challenges!!

Excitement!!

This evenings crafting didn't go quite to plan so in the end I decided to stop and come back to it tomorrow. I was feeling pretty down as recently I've been on a bit of a roll so was delighted to get a phone call from my mother in law asking me to make a 60th cars for a work colleague of hers!!
It's my first ever commission and I am so excited!! Very nervous too but looking forward to the challenge!!
Fingers crossed I will do a good job for her!!
I'll let you know how I get on!!

Dawn Bibby Flower Patch Cards

I managed to make a few more cards from the Flower Patch collection today. It's a lovely bright kit and makes making quick but lovely cards very simple!
Usually when I use kits I spend ages trying to decide if I should use certain elements just in case I might need them for another card but today I just went for it and I'm very happy with the result!

Polka Doodles Spots & Stripes Challenge Card

I entered my first challenge last month on the Polka Doodles Facebook site and thought I would try another.
This weeks challenge was to use Polka Dots, Stripes or both.
The Papers are from the Pen and Paper Circle issue 1 and the image is their new Bee Happy download.
